John Burton's Demented Decorating Pre-Xpo Workshop
Decorating techniques for Dark Amusements and Horror Moives

Called “Gods gift to Halloween” by Doug “Pinhead” Bradley, John L Burton is coming to Haunt X to present a three part seminar and demonstration. This seminar will consist of 1) Set Distressing; making things look old, dirty and nasty, 2) Gross & Gory; grossing them out without the use of blood, and 3) Blood Guts N’ Gore; slimy gooey blood and guts on a budget.

John has been creating terrifying illusion of reality since 1971 with 72 events consisting of more than 105 attractions as well as a few movies sets along the way. Most recently “Dead End Road” (2004) and The Finial Curtain” (2006). Starting with charity and “No Budget” haunts in the early 70s John has perfected inexpensive techniques for creating awesome sets that look old, nasty and gory.

John will bring his expertise to you in a four hour, three part seminar teaching you how to make things look old and dirty, gross and gory, and filled with blood and guts, on a budget.

Stick around afterwards for an anything goes Q&A with John.
