The first and oldest award of it's kind, the Haunt X Awards are the Oscars of the Haunted Community. Our awards go out each year to winners of the Haunter's Video Contest that sees over 100 entries per year as well as to the winners of the Haunt X CHALLENGE and the Last Ride Car Show. Including three categories for Professional Haunted Attractions and also three categories in our Dark Industry Awards. Also, new in 2007, we honored the winners of the Haunt X Fright Fest Film Festival categories. This gala black shirt affair was presented by horror film actor and producer, Chuck Williams and Theresa Tilly from Evil Dead.
 
The theme of 2007's Haunt X Awards was an honorarium for one of the haunting industry's icons, Cydney Neil of  Rocky Point Haunted House. In recognition for her outstanding career, we offered this tribute to the significant loss to an industry as well as a nation with the retirement of this amazing yearly feast of fear.

The Yearly Haunter's Video Contest will see nine winners chosen by a panel of judges made up from the trophy sponsors themselves from four different categories; Four first place and four finalists with one grand prize winner of the year who will be inducted into the Haunt X Haunt Enthusiast Hall Of Pain.
 
The Haunt X 2008 Fright Fest Film Festival has two categories that will see winners awarded for both Finalist and 1st Place trophies for Short Films and Feature Length. 
 

The Last Ride Car Show Awards have six winners, ranging from the Sickest Stock Ride, the Sickest Modified Ride, Sickest Decorated Ride with 1st Place and Finalists for each

 
The Dark Industry Awards 2007 now has three separate categories. The first will be presented to the Halloween industry manufacturer who has created what has been determined to be the most exciting new product of the year, industry-wide. The second category winner will be to the person or organization that has added the most significantly to the overall makeup of the global dark industry. Our final honor will be bestowed on the person or organization who has added the most positive contribution to Halloween communities.  
 

The CHALLENGE 2008 trophy will be awarded to the top entry for the most original animatronic. This is a great, wide open field this year, so don't waste any time getting your prop in the line up!

 
The Haunted House Awards Contest features 6 winners, three first place and three finalists. These categories will be chosen through write in votes from haunt goers from across the country, making them truly a nation-wide consensus for the best of the best. 
 

All winners will receive a spectacular hand sculpted SOLID GOLD* trophy, designed exclusively by the creative folks from CIFX and produced by the talented people from Ghost Ride Productions both of which are primary sponsors of the Haunt X Awards.

A BLACK SHIRT dress code will be observed, so come in your best black! (Ts admitted!) All valid show passes on Sunday the 18th gets you in to the ceremony.
